Part-Time After School Teacher

Hazel Creek Montessori, located on Bainbridge Island, WA, is currently looking to hire a part-time teacher to work with our after-school aged children. We are looking for enthusiastic, engaging, patient, kind, collaborative, self-efficacious individuals with the desire to team teach and work with young children.

We are located on a 10-acre farm and the environment is a child's paradise. We have an outdoor educational program with extensive vegetable and ornamental gardens, greenhouse, swimming pool, trails, wetlands, and goats.

Compensation ranges from $18.00-$22.00 per hour based on education, skills, and experience. Benefits available include vision, dental and health insurance, a simple IRA program for retirement planning, and paid winter break. There may also be continuing paid education for both ECE and Montessori educational degrees and certification, in lieu of an employment agreement.
