Part Time Babysitter

Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and caring Part Time Babysitter to provide attentive childcare support to our two daughters aged 8 and 13. This role works everyday, M-F, from 2:45-6/6:30 with additional hours if available. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, responsible, and experienced in working with children of various ages. This position requires a car and a clean driving record.

• Pick up kids every day from school and drive them to their afternoon activities including, sports, playdates, etc.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times by adhering to safety protocols and emergency procedures
• Prepare snacks and meals suitable for children’s dietary needs and preferences
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding children’s activities, behaviors, and any concerns that arise during care
• Maintain a clean and organized environment, including tidying up toys and child-related areas
• Support children with developmental needs by applying caregiving techniques tailored to individual requirements, including working with children with disabilities

Qualifications

• Proven experience in babysitting, nannying, daycare work, or related caregiving roles
• Knowledge of first aid procedures and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Familiarity with child development principles and age-specific care techniques
• Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively
• Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills
• Prior experience working with children with disabilities is a plus

Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
