Part Time Barista

Attention all coffee, matcha, and tea lovers!Looking to hire an experienced coffee barista with flexibility in opening/closing shifts at 3THYME COFFEE located in Koreatown!

Overview
Enhance your barista knowledge and coffee grinding skills, while working through the general customer service workflow at a family-owned independent coffee shop!

Job Description
- Learning the opening & closing shift routine

- Working the POS system (cashier)
- Handling general barista work
- Adjusting the coffee in the opening shift (REQUIRED, DO NOT apply if you can’t coffee taste/set grind)
- Excellent customer service

- Consistent sanitary upkeeping throughout your shift (There’s always something to do!)
- Handling light food prep ranging from pastries to sandwiches and burritos

Requirements

- Coffee tasting and setting grind in the morning.

- Part time with ~20+ hours commitment!

- Some level of skills with barista work and customer service knowledge

- Food Handler Certification

- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Must have a positive attitude! :)
- Must be proficient in English.

--> Being bilingual in Korean is a plus!- Must be a team player!

Optional

- General versatility with filling in the schedule gaps as a team player are a HUGE PLUS!
- Eagerness to grow and learn more about Barista work and general coffee handling is FANTASTIC!
