Part-time Barista - Flagship location

About the Position

Our coffee shop + pastry kitchen, located across from the University of Texas in West Campus, serves as the Lucky Lab homebase. It is a high-volume, fast paced work environment that necessitates cooperative teamwork, time management, and strong multi-tasking skills in order to run smoothly. We are looking for thoughtful, attentive, and reliable go-getters capable of paying attention to the details while keeping their eye on the big picture.

Our only requirement is a demonstrated commitment to providing excellent customer service at all times and perfecting the entire customer experience from start to finish. We are looking for candidates that are available for 6-8 hour shift blocks and are able to commit to at least 15 hours each week (part time). • You have excellent time management and task delegation skills and work well under pressure
• You are punctual! On time means 10 minutes early!
• You have a genuine interest in coffee and coffee shops, locally run businesses, people and dogs;
• You've got a food handlers certificate (or the willingness to get one);
• Use a POS system to take guests orders, handle cash and communicate with team members.
• Follow all recipes for Lucky Lab products and produce drinks to the Lucky Lab standard.
• Maintain clean and well stocked merchandise displays.
• Operate and maintain Barista equipment according to Lucky Lab standard.
• You’re a creative problem solver who sees what needs to be done and does it;
• You’re okay with a flexible and changing schedule that includes early morning shifts;
• You want to join a team with opportunities for growth;
• You have access to reliable transportation.
• You LOVE dogs :)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $21.00 per hour
