About Us
Bridging the Dental Gap is a mission-driven dental clinic dedicated to providing affordable, high-quality dental care to underserved individuals and families in our community. We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Bookkeeper to support our financial operations and help ensure the continued success of our programs and services.
Position Summary
The Part-Time Bookkeeper will manage day-to-day bookkeeping functions, maintain accurate financial records, process payroll, and support the clinic’s accounting and reporting needs. The ideal candidate has experience with nonprofit accounting, QuickBooks, and payroll administration.
Responsibilities

Maintain accurate financial records and general ledger entries

Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable

Reconcile bank and credit card statements

Process biweekly or monthly payroll and payroll tax filings

Maintain employee payroll records and benefits deductions

Prepare financial reports for management and board meetings

Assist with budget tracking and grant reporting

Support annual audit preparation and compliance documentation

Monitor cash flow and maintain organized accounting files

Ensure compliance with nonprofit accounting standards and policies
Qualifications

Previous bookkeeping or accounting experience required

Proficiency with QuickBooks required

Experience processing payroll and payroll taxes

Experience working with nonprofit organizations preferred

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism

Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel

Associate degree in accounting, bookkeeping, or related field preferred
Schedule & Compensation

Part-time: approximately 15–25 hours per week

Flexible schedule available
-
Compensation: $22–$30/hour, depending on experience
