Part-time Brunch Server/Bartender

Wilde Coastal Brunch & Bar is seeking a motivated bartender/server who has strong and enthusiastic customer service skills, is a team player, and wants to work in a fun and inspiring environment. Please note this is a part-time position and weekends are required but nights always free!

Duties

  • Greet guests warmly and guide them through our brunch menu, providing detailed descriptions and recommendations to enhance their experience
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems, ensuring timely and correct delivery
  • Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including specialty cocktails, craft beers, and non-alcoholic drinks, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
  • Manage cash handling responsibilities with precision, including cashiering duties and processing payments efficiently
  • Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards by adhering to proper food handling procedures and sanitation protocols
  • Assist with setting up and breaking down the bar area, ensuring all supplies are stocked and organized for smooth service
  • Engage with guests to create a lively atmosphere, promote specials, and upsell menu items to maximize sales opportunities

Requirements

  • Proven experience in food service or hospitality roles, preferably with fine dining or nightclub background
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order entry and transaction processing
  • Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables and bar orders efficiently during busy brunch hours
  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that enhances guest satisfaction
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations, proper food handling techniques, and alcohol service laws
  • Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math understanding for sales upselling, and accurate bill splitting
  • Previous catering or banquet experience is a plus; experience in brewing or retail environments is beneficial
  • Ability to work flexible hours on weekends and mornings; nightclubs or late-night experience is advantageous
