Part-Time Chess Teacher – After School Program

We are a small, community-centered school located in the Ravenswood area seeking a Chess Teacher to work with children ages 6–12 years old.

Position Details:

• Schedule: Thursdays from 3:45–4:45 p.m.
• Type: Part-time
• Start Date: January 5

Responsibilities:

• Teach basic and intermediate chess skills
• Engage and motivate students through fun, structured lessons
• Create a positive and supportive learning environment

Who Can Apply:

• Experienced chess players who enjoy working with children
• High school seniors are welcome and encouraged to apply as this is a great opportunity to gain extracurricular and teaching experience for college applications

Compensation:

• $125 per class
