Position Overview

We are seeking a part-time Content Creator to support our marketing team in planning, producing, editing, and publishing content.

This role will report to the Director of Marketing and work alongside our Social Media Manager. The focus is on creating content that builds trust, educates business leaders, and reinforces our position as a reliable IT partner.

This is not a social media influencer role. This is a business-focused content role.

Key Responsibilities

Content Planning

• Collaborate on a monthly content calendar aligned with marketing initiatives
• Identify opportunities to turn internal expertise into external content

Content Creation

• Film video content onsite at our Fort Lauderdale headquarters
• Capture team interactions, operational workflows, and leadership insights
• Conduct short interviews with team members

Editing and Production

• Edit both short-form and long-form video content
• Create multiple short clips from primary recordings
• Write captions and supporting copy

Content Distribution

• Coordinate with the Social Media Manager on posting schedules
• Repurpose content into blog, email, and website formats

Performance Tracking

• Monitor engagement and performance trends
• Recommend adjustments based on results

Content Focus Areas

• Business-focused IT and cybersecurity education
• Executive-level insights
• Client reassurance and transparency
• Behind-the-scenes operational content
• Team and culture highlights
• South Florida business community content

What This Role Is Not

• Not meme-driven content
• Not overly technical or jargon-heavy
• Not fear-based cybersecurity marketing
• Not influencer-style content

Qualifications

Required

• 2+ years of experience in content creation, video production, or digital media
• Strong video editing skills
• Strong written communication skills
• Ability to simplify complex topics into clear, business-friendly messaging
• Comfortable working with professionals and executives

Preferred

• Experience in B2B or professional services content
• Experience creating LinkedIn-focused content
• Basic understanding of IT or cybersecurity

Work Environment

• Must be based in South Florida
• Regular in-office collaboration is required
• Some flexibility for remote editing and planning work

Compensation

• 1099 contractor position with the potential for full-time employment
• Hourly or project-based compensation, based on experience
