Program Overview:
Project Restore Brownsville is a community-based violence intervention and prevention initiative designed to support young people at elevated risk of involvement in gun violence. The program combines intensive case management, mentoring, trauma-informed group work, and workforce development opportunities to stabilize participants, reduce violent behavior, and support long-term positive outcomes. Project Restore operates as an enhancement of existing BIVO work, strengthening continuity of care, supervision, and participant engagement across systems.
Position Overview:
The person filling this position is expected, under close supervision, to support Project Restore Brownsville by tracking program activity and outcomes, maintaining clean and accurate data systems, and producing regular reports for internal planning and partner reporting. This role helps the team stay organized, meet reporting requirements, and use data to improve services for participants.
What the PT Data Analyst Does:- Practice Universal Precautions/Standard Protocol & Procedures.
- Comply with all Federal, State, City, and CAMBA security and privacy policies to protect the confidentiality
of individual health information.
- Ensure the safety and security of all participants by following program protocols and procedures, including
supervision, accident and incident reporting.
- Set up simple data entry tools and templates (forms, spreadsheets, logs) that program staff can use
consistently.
- Monitor data quality (missing info, duplicates, errors) and follow up with staff to correct issues.
- Produce weekly and monthly reports that summarize program activity.
- Create clear visuals (charts, summaries) that help program leadership and partners understand trends.
- Help define and track key metrics with CAMBA leadership and KCDA.
- Identify patterns in the data such as drop-off points, attendance trends, and service gaps.
- Support planning meetings by preparing data summaries and talking points.
- Follow program rules for confidentiality and data security.
- Support audits or monitoring requests by pulling records and explaining how data is tracked.
- Meet regularly with the Project Restore Program Director, Program Manager, and program staff to discuss
data trends.
- Coordinate with KCDA to provide requested data and clarifications.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education Required:- Bachelor’s degree in data analytics, public health, health sciences, statistics, information systems, or a
related field
Minimum Experience and Skills Required:- 2 years of experience managing program data, reporting, or analytics
- Ability to document work accurately and timely.

note certifying good health; NYS Division of Criminal Justice Services Sex Offender Registry clearance
