Schedule: Part time, Monday – Friday - flexible hours from 11am-6pm

Position Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Part Time Teacher to join our River Vale team. The ideal candidate has a passion for supporting the growth and development of young learners.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Lead teacher in the classroom with creativity, structure, and warmth.
• Implement The Learning Experience® L.E.A.P. Curriculum® aligned with age-appropriate milestones.
• Create and maintain a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding classroom activities and child progress.
• Mentor and collaborate with teachers to ensure consistent classroom excellence.
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with state and center policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of classroom experience working with toddlers or preschoolers preferred.
• Strong understanding of child development and developmentally appropriate practices.
• Must meet all New York State childcare licensing requirements.
CPR and First Aid certification preferred (training available).
