Part-Time Dental Hygienist, Monday & Wednesday

Duties

• Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing, and periodontal maintenance to promote optimal oral health
• Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories and current dental conditions
• Take digital X-rays
• Assist the doctor with exams and treatment planning
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care
• Maintain accurate patient records, document treatment notes, review documentation for accuracy, and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations

Qualifications

• Valid MN licensure as a Dental Hygienist with current CPR certification
• Proficiency in dental office software such as Softdent preferred, but not required.
• Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control protocols, and medical coding practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Gentle, patient-centered approach
• Reliable and team-oriented
• Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations, dental terminology, and dental records management.
