We are seeking dedicated and passionate dog walkers and pet sitters to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing animals with exceptional care, loving social interaction, and exercise, while ensuring safety and well-being.

We are a diverse team of military spouses, young professionals, and semi-retirees. The ideal candidate is someone located in or near Rockville, MD, looking for supplemental income and interested in building their hours over time.

And of course, they should have a love for animals, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple pets effectively!

Duties

• Walk dogs in various weather conditions, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
• Provide companionship and engage with pets to promote physical activity and mental stimulation.
• Maintain communication with pet owners regarding their dog's behavior, health, and any concerns that may arise during visits.
• Ensure that all dogs are leashed properly and follow local leash laws.
• Clean up after dogs during walks to maintain a clean environment.
• Monitor the health and behavior of pets, reporting any unusual signs or issues to the owner.
• Assist with basic pet care tasks as needed, such as feeding or administering medication.
• Build strong relationships with both pets and their owners through exceptional customer service.

Experience

• Previous experience in animal handling or pet care is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Skills in customer service to effectively communicate with pet owners and address their needs.
• We are looking for a conscientious, reliable team-player who embraces problem-solving.

Pay: $16.88 - $22.00 per hour
