Part time Evening Server

Duties

• Greet residents and guests warmly, providing attentive and personalized service throughout their dining experience
• Serve meals, beverages, and snacks efficiently, ensuring proper presentation and portion control
• Assist with food preparation, plating, and presentation in accordance with safety and quality standards
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including clearing tables, bussing dishes, and sanitizing surfaces regularly
• Support the dietary department by following meal plans and dietary restrictions accurately
• Ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures are followed to uphold food safety regulations
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal delivery times and address any special requests or dietary needs

Skills

• Previous experience in assisted living, nursing homes, hospitals, or the food industry is highly desirable
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
• Knowledge of food production, preparation, and serving techniques
• Familiarity with food safety protocols and sanitation standards
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Ability to work well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Basic culinary experience and understanding of meal presentation are advantageous
