Part-Time Evenings & Weekends Retail Sales Consultant

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Part time Seasonal EVENINGS & WEEKENDS Retail Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and a strong ability to engage with customers, ensuring they have a positive shopping experience. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be responsible for engaging with shoppers in the plaza, inviting them into the store, assisting customers with their purchases, maintaining the sales floor, and contributing to the overall success of the store. Duties

• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers at the door and assisting them with their needs.
• Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately using POS systems.
• Stock shelves and ensure merchandise is displayed attractively and organized.
• Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and conducting regular counts.
• Upsell products to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and backroom areas.
• Supervise junior staff members as needed, fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Utilize retail math skills to assist in pricing strategies and inventory control.
• Exhibit professional phone etiquette when handling customer inquiries or concerns.
• Maintain a positive attitude and dress professionally

Experience

• Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with grocery store operations is a plus.
• Experience using cash registers or POS systems is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• A proactive attitude towards upselling and enhancing the customer shopping experience is essential.

Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour
