Find The RightJob.

The Louisiana Grazing Lands Conservation Initiative (Louisiana GLCI) is a producer-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit that supports farmers and ranchers by sharing practical grazing knowledge through farm tours, educational resources, and peer-to-peer learning.

We’re looking for a creative and motivated intern to help capture and edit short-form educational videos for farmers and ranchers. Think quick grazing tips, ranching hacks, and behind-the-scenes farm content. You’ll work with a small team of staff members with experience in agriculture, marketing, photography, videography, and social media strategy.

This role is ideal for someone who is energetic, personable, and comfortable interacting with farmers and ranchers while capturing footage at events. This internship is designed to help students build a real video portfolio while learning how agricultural organizations use social media to share practical knowledge.

What You'll Work On
● Capture video footage at pasture walks and workshops across Louisiana
● Film speakers, demonstrations, and practical grazing techniques
● Edit short-form videos for Reels, Shorts, and TikToks
● Turn event footage into quick “grazing hacks” and educational/inspirational clips
● Assist with building and organizing Louisiana GLCI’s short-form video library
● Participate in weekly team Zoom meetings
Content direction and planning will be provided by the Louisiana GLCI team. The intern’s role focuses on capturing footage and editing content, not producing or directing projects.

What You'll Gain
● A portfolio of published short-form video content
● Real-world experience filming agricultural events and working farms
● Experience editing educational and social media video content
● Exposure to how non-profits use social media to share agricultural knowledge
● Mentorship from a team experienced in agriculture, marketing, photography, and video production.
By the end of this internship, you'll have hands-on experience capturing field footage and creating educational video content for a real agricultural audience.
