Job Description

The Ford Agency is actively recruiting for a Part-Time Facilities Assistant to join an advocacy focused think tank in Washington, DC. This role will oversee day-to-day office operations of common areas, ensuring the staff has a seamless experience. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a post career PT role or a student looking for a long term position. This is a temp to hire role and our client is looking for a 2+ year commitment. Hours for this role are Mon-Fri 8:30am-1:30pm or Mon-Thurs 8:30am-2:30pm.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Oversee daily office operations of common areas including reception, conference rooms, pantry, and smaller meeting rooms.
  • Ensure all pantry items are well stocked and organized
  • Maintain organizational system for supply areas
  • Assist with special events
  • Coordinate with outside vendors as needed
Qualifications Include:
  • Engaged and motivated work style
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of organization
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to lift up to 20lbs
  • Ability to work Mon-Fri 8:30am – 1:30pm or Mon-Thurs 8:30am-2:30pm

Candidates for this position must be based in DC, MD, or VA area or have independent plans for relocation.
