Part time FOH lead

Looking for: Front of house bakery counter lead

This position is Part time with typical schedule running Saturday to Monday, other fill in days as needed. Pay for this role is $19-$20/hr (depending on experience) plus tips!

This is a supervisory and customer service role.

We believe in cross training our staff - this means we are looking for individuals who are potentially interested in learning more about gluten free baking as well as working as a barista and waiting on customers - however we welcome all to apply! In this position you will serve customers a wide range of pastries, cookies, cakes, etc. as well as make espresso and coffee drinks and work with the Toast POS system.

Responsibilities

• Providing high quality customer service and upholding product quality standards.
• Working at the front counter, serving baked goods, making coffee and stocking the bakery cases.
• Supervising baristas and counter staff and making sure breaks are covered
• Ensuring quality and consistency in all front of house areas.
• making sure cases are set up properly, stocked and clean.
• Making sure dining room and customer areas are clean and stocked.
• Taking inventory and reporting needs to operations manager.
• Handling customer concerns or handling refunds.
• Updating stock in the POS as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years direct customer service experience.
• Minimum of 1 year supervisory experience.
• Good communication skills and attention to detail.
• Welcoming personality, a positive attitude, and team player.
• Knowledge of what it means to be gluten free and attention to allergy concerns and ingredients.
• Ability to remain focused in a fast-paced environment.
• A self-starter who takes the initiative when needed.
• Team spirit, with a customer-focused attitude

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
