We are looking for a Hotel Front Desk Agent to serve as our guests’ first point of contact and manage all aspects of their accommodation. Hotel Front Desk Agent responsibilities include registering guests, managing reservations and providing information about rooms, rates and amenities. If you have a knack for customer service we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, you will help create a pleasant and memorable stay for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Perform all check-in and check-out tasks and handles monetary transactions.
- Possesses a working knowledge of the reservations department Takes same day reservations and future reservations. Knows cancellation procedures.
- Knows room locations, types of rooms available, and room rates.
- Register guests collecting necessary information (like contact details and exact dates of their stay)
- Welcome guests upon their arrival and assign rooms
- Provide information about our hotel, available rooms, rates and amenities
- Respond to guest complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Maintains customers privacy.
- Maintains a high level of professional appearance and demeanor.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- This is typically a 3p-11p shift, though some day shifts 7a-3p would be as needed.
Skills
- Work experience as a Hotel Front Desk Agent, Receptionist or similar role
- Customer service attitude
- Ability to understand and adhere to proper credit card and cash handling policies and procedures.
- Skilled in the use of front office equipment and knowledge of proper telephone etiquette.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills

Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour
