Part-Time Household Assistant

We're a growing family in Far North Dallas looking for a reliable, organized household assistant for one full day per week (~8 hours). This is not a childcare role — we have other arrangements for our kids. We need help running our household so we can spend our off-hours with our family instead of at Costco.

The work, roughly:

• Manage household inventory (diapers, paper goods, pet supplies, etc.)
• Laundry (including some items with specific care instructions)
• Taking out trash, refilling soap containers, light tidying
• Taking cars in for service (gas, wash, oil changes, tire rotations, etc.)
• Costco runs
• Dog care during the day — walks, fresh water, occasional grooming runs, etc.
• Other errands and small projects as they come up

We track everything in a shared Notion task list, so you'll always know what's on the plate for the day. We're organized people — you won't be guessing what to do.

The day: We're flexible on which day of the week, but we'd like it to be the same day every week (likely Tuesday or Wednesday). 8-hour day, generally 9 AM – 5 PM with some flexibility. We are also open to two half-days per week. Our main concern is establishing a set schedule.

What we're looking for:

• Reliable, organized, and proactive — someone who notices what needs doing and takes action without being asked
• Experience as a personal assistant or member of household staff - this job would be perfect for someone who works for multiple families at one time
• Comfortable with our small dog (he’s friendly)
• Reliable personal car and clean driving record
• Comfortable using a phone for texting updates and following a simple task list
• Discreet and trustworthy — you'll have access to our home, schedule, and a household credit card
• Long-term mindset — we'd love to find someone who can grow with us over 2+ years

What we offer:

• $25–30/hr DOE, paid as a W-2 employee through a payroll service (taxes properly withheld, you get a real W-2 in January)
