Part-Time In-Home Support Assistant

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable, punctual, and compassionate individual to provide essential in-home support for a client in Plainfield. This role is perfect for someone looking for consistent, short morning shifts to help maintain a clean and functional living environment.

Schedule

• Days: Every Tuesday and Friday
• Hours: 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. (Noon)
• Status: Part-time

Key Responsibilities

• Light Housekeeping: Maintaining cleanliness in common areas, including dusting, wiping surfaces, and ensuring the home is tidy.
• Waste Management: Ensuring garbage and recycling are collected and taken out for Tuesday morning pickup.
• Mobility Support: Providing mindful assistance and clear pathways for a client who ambulates via wheelchair.
• General Assistance: Helping with small daily tasks as needed to ensure the client’s comfort.

Requirements

• Reliability: Must be consistently available during the specified Tuesday/Friday morning window.
• Physical Ability: Must be able to handle light lifting (trash removal) and be comfortable navigating a home environment tailored for wheelchair use.
• Communication: Friendly, professional, and able to follow specific household instructions.
• Location: Must have reliable transportation to the Bolingbrook area.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
