Part-Time Laboratory Technician (Potential for Full-Time)

We are seeking a detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to support daily clinical laboratory operations. This part-time position has the potential to transition to full-time based on performance and operational needs.

Responsibilities:

• Receive and evaluate specimens for acceptance or rejection
• Accession samples and perform data entry into the laboratory information system
• Label and aliquot specimens according to laboratory protocols
• Process samples for testing (e.g., serum, whole blood)
• Store and manage specimens in designated refrigerators/freezers
• Maintain accurate documentation and sample tracking
• Follow laboratory quality standards and regulatory requirements, including Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) and College of American Pathologists (CAP) guidelines
• Maintain a clean and organized laboratory workspace

Qualifications:

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Biology, or related field preferred
• Prior laboratory experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to follow laboratory protocols and regulatory standards
• Ability to become a team player

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
