Duties

• Perform lawn care tasks including mowing, edging, and trimming to ensure pristine outdoor spaces
• Assist with landscape maintenance such as planting, pruning, and mulching
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely for various landscaping projects
• Support hardscape installation including patios, walkways, and retaining walls
• Maintain irrigation systems and perform routine garden care to promote plant health
• Help with snow plowing during winter months to keep properties accessible and safe
• Conduct basic tree care activities like trimming and pruning under supervision
• Assist with equipment maintenance and proper storage of tools and machinery

Skills

• Mechanical knowledge for operating and maintaining landscaping equipment and tools
• Experience with lawn care, gardening, and landscape maintenance techniques
• Familiarity with landscaping materials such as stone, mulch, and soil
• Ability to use hand tools (shovels, rakes, pruners) and power tools safely and effectively
• Knowledge of irrigation systems, tree care practices, and horticulture principles
• Basic understanding of construction processes related to hardscape projects
