Kutztown Community Library is a public library in Berks County, PA.
The position is for 10-15 hours per week. Includes Saturdays (9 to 4 pm), afternoons (1:45 to 6 pm), and additional hours as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome and assist patrons in the library
- Manage the circulation desk, including lending library materials, issuing library cards, and record financial transactions
- Assist patrons with selecting library materials and provide reference guidance
- Process passports applications
- Deliver excellent customer service
- Assist patrons with computer usage
- Supervise assigned volunteers
- Attend staff meetings and trainings
- Carry out other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Proficient computer skills and customer service expertise
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- 18 years old or older and a United States citizen
- Completion of PA Criminal Record Check, PA Child Abuse History, and FBI Criminal Background Check
- Previous Library experience is preferred but not required

- Follow instructions, policies, and procedures; maintain accurate records; and take accountability for own work
Physical demands:
- Required to sit, talk, see, and/or hear
- Must frequently lift and/or move up to 35 pounds
- Must possess language skills necessary for communication and reading
