The Fifth Om is a holistic skincare and wellness spa dedicated to helping clients achieve healthy, radiant skin through customized treatments that blend botanical skincare with advanced technology.

We are seeking a Licensed Esthetician to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for an esthetician who is confident in their foundational skills, values a holistic approach to skincare, and is committed to continued growth and learning.

Our estheticians are trusted to deliver thoughtful, customized treatments—not one-size-fits-all services. This is an opportunity to work in a calm, professional environment where quality, intention, and client experience come first.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform customized facial treatments based on individual client needs and skin conditions
• Integrate tools and technology (such as LED, microcurrent, high frequency, and dermaplaning) as appropriate
• Educate clients on skincare routines and product recommendations
• Build strong client relationships that support retention and rebooking
• Maintain accurate client records and follow-up as needed

What We’re Looking For

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Active Esthetician License in the State of Maine
• Professional liability insurance
• Availability for weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday)
• Strong communication skills and professional presence
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and self-motivated

Preferred Experience:

• Hands-on experience with advanced skincare tools and treatments
• Interest in holistic, integrative approaches to skin health
• Commitment to ongoing education and skill development
• Comfort learning new systems and technology

Compensation & Benefits

• Compensation includes a base hourly rate starting at $20 per hour, plus gratuities and commission on product sales. Total hourly earnings typically range from $30–$50+ depending on experience, services performed, and client retention.
