Job Descriptions:

We are looking to hire a part-time, live-onsite Community Manager who will manage an apartment complex located in Redwood City, CA with 30-units. This property is a pet free/smoke free community. The work schedule will be Tuesday thru Saturday, approximately 4 hours per day. You may have part time outside employment, but must be able to fulfill the required hours during the day. The Community Manager must be able to carry a cell phone at all times and be able to respond to leasing and emergency calls. If you have outside employment, your other employer must have knowledge and approval of your Community Manager responsibilities.

Essential job functions include, but are not limited to:

• Leasing –respond to rental leads promptly, answer prospective resident calls, conduct property tours, screen applicants, complete all necessary paperwork and complete the move in process.
• Work on capital projects that are happening at the property
• Accurately prepare and complete leasing and administrative paperwork
• All information should be entered in Yardi Voyager system on a real-time basis

Maintain thorough knowledge of the property and competition properties

• Place ads on Craigslist and use other marketing tools as directed
• Maintain prospect traffic and leasing data and other computer data entry in Yardi
• Maintain superb relationships with all residents and vendors
• Provide excellent customer service to the residents
• Enforces rules and regulations fairly and equitably with all residents
• Return missed calls and e-mails promptly
• Write approved letters and memos as needed
• Process rental payments and monitor accounts
• Prepare Move-out accounting
• Order supplies and process invoices
• Schedule turnover work and work orders
• Complete work order documentation
• Follow fair housing guidelines at all times

Do You Have:

• One year of prior experience in property management
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Must have strong verbal and written English skills
• Computer literate including Microsoft Word and Excel; knowledge of Yardi Voyager or other property management software systems is helpful
• Ability to maintain a professional image and possess great people skills
• Must have a valid California Driver's license and state required insurance
• Our ideal candidate is self-motivated, friendly, and energetic
