Part-Time Local Marketing & Content Coordinator (Iowa)

Holistic Wellness & Psychiatry is seeking a Part-Time Local Marketing & Content Coordinator to support growth and visibility in our Iowa market.

We are an integrative psychiatry and functional medicine practice offering services including ketamine therapy, Spravato, KAP (ketamine-assisted psychotherapy), therapy, and medical care.

This role is focused on consistent local marketing execution, content creation, and helping drive patient awareness and engagement — not just social media posting.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage a simple monthly content calendar
• Post consistently (3–5x/week) across Instagram and Facebook
• Develop content focused on:
• Ketamine/Spravato education
• Mental health awareness
• Provider highlights
• Patient journey education (non-clinical)
• Capture and/or coordinate basic photo/video content in clinic (as needed)
• Support local outreach:
• Events
• Partnerships
• Referral relationships
• Promote workshops, new providers, and services
• Engage with comments/messages in a professional manner
• Coordinate with leadership and team for approvals and ideas
• Track basic metrics (engagement, clicks, inquiries)

This role is NOT responsible for:

• Website development
• SEO strategy
• Paid ads management
• Advanced analytics

(You will collaborate with our marketing and website team for these areas.)

Ideal Candidate

• Experience managing social media for a business (healthcare/wellness preferred)
• Strong writing and communication skills
• Comfortable with Canva or similar tools
• Able to take initiative and work independently
• Organized and reliable
• Interest in mental health, wellness, or integrative medicine
• Local to Cedar Rapids or surrounding area strongly preferred

Position Details

• 5–10 hours per week to start
• Flexible schedule
