We are currently seeking a part-time Marketing Assistant to support the Marketing Director at our Edwards showroom location.

DAILY / WEEKLY WORKFLOW
- Brief check-in at the start of each shift to review priorities, deadlines, and ongoing projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Event & Experience Support
- Assist with event planning, preparation, and day-of setup. (Tasks may include: Gift wrapping, writing personalized gift notes, securing event rentals, picking up prints or materials, organizing décor, collecting details such as dietary restrictions, transportation needs, hotel bookings, parking information, and venue notes.)
- Support with trade show preparation as needed.
- Assist with post-event tasks such as packaging and shipping gifts and general follow-up.
Social Media Support
- Daily community engagement across platforms.
- Support Instagram growth strategies and content organization.
- Manage and update Pinterest and Houzz boards.
- Assist with TikTok concepts, short-form video ideas, and trend-inspired content.
- Bring innovative, creative ideas to enhance our digital presence and expand our social reach.
Website & Digital Marketing Support
- Manage products, collections, and inspiration images on the website; update content as needed via WordPress.
- Optimize SEO for existing product pages.
- Draft and proofread brand-forward written content as needed.
- Assist with CRM and email marketing tasks: Import, export, and organize client lists in Excel. Track e-blast performance in Excel (open rates, click-through rates, etc.) and maintain basic reporting.
Administrative & General Marketing Support
- Book hotel rooms, order flowers, and assist with various administrative or logistical requests.
- Support company gifting program.
- Help source materials, gather information, or run occasional errands as needed.
REQUIREMENTS
- Must have a personal laptop for daily work use.
- Creative mindset with interest in marketing, design, digital media, and events.
- Ability to work independently with shifting priorities.
- High proficiency with social media platforms—especially Instagram; Pinterest, TikTok, and Houzz strongly preferred.
- Ability to bring new, innovative ideas to a fun, dynamic workplace.
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable with technology, online tools, Microsoft Office, and Excel.
- Reliable transportation for occasional errands and event tasks.
COMPENSATION
- $25/hour
- Part-time role up to 16 hours per week (hours may vary depending on project load).
SCHEDULE
- Flexible scheduling: may be structured as a few hours per day or several days per week based on preference, availability, and ongoing projects.
- Hours must fall between Tuesday–Friday, 9am–5pm.
- Occasional evening support for events as needed.
