Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons in math and English tailored to diverse student needs, including early childhood education, preschool, and adult learners
• Develop and adapt curriculum materials that align with educational standards and individual learning goals
• Utilize innovative learning technology to enhance lesson delivery and student engagement
• Provide one-on-one tutoring sessions to reinforce concepts and support student progress
• Manage classroom dynamics effectively, ensuring a safe, respectful, and productive environment
• Plan lessons that incorporate classroom management strategies and accommodate students with special education needs
• Communicate regularly with students and parents or guardians regarding progress, challenges, and achievements

Experience

• Prior classroom experience in teaching math and English at various levels, including early childhood education, preschool, or adult education
• Demonstrated ability to develop curriculum and lesson plans that meet diverse learning styles
• Experience working with children, students with special needs, or those requiring additional support is highly desirable
• Familiarity with learning technology tools used for remote or hybrid instruction
• Strong communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues
• Knowledge of classroom management techniques and best practices for working with young learners or adult students
• Passion for education, continuous learning, and fostering a positive learning environment

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
