Part-Time Math Tutor (Algebra - Calculus)

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Tutor who is proficient in upper level math from 6th to 12th grade, SAT/ACT Prep. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in tutoring and education, with the ability to work with students of various ages and learning levels. This role involves providing personalized instruction and fostering a supportive learning environment to help students achieve their academic goals.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions tailored to individual student needs.
• Assist students in understanding complex concepts and improve their academic performance.
• Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies as necessary.
• Communicate effectively with students and educational staff regarding student development.
• Create a positive and engaging learning atmosphere that encourages student participation.
• Utilize various teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles.

Skills

• Strong experience in tutoring, with a proven track record of helping students succeed academically.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively educate students and collaborate with staff.
• Experience in early childhood education is advantageous.
• Ability to engage with students of all ages, including those requiring special attention or support.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple students’ needs effectively.
