Part Time Nanny

Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and energetic Part Time Weekend Nanny to provide attentive, nurturing care for children in a safe and engaging environment. This role is perfect for someone who loves working with children and is dedicated to fostering their development through playful learning, meal preparation, and caregiving activities. The ideal candidate will be reliable, proactive, and experienced in caring for children of various ages, including infants and toddlers. As a valued member of our caregiving team, you will help create a positive, enriching experience for children while supporting their physical and emotional needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive childcare tailored to each child's age, interests, and developmental stage
• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks suitable for children’s dietary needs
• Engage children in educational activities, playtime, and age-appropriate teaching moments
• Ensure safety by supervising children at all times and implementing first aid procedures when necessary
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks related to childcare, including cleaning toys and children's areas
• Support children with preschool routines, nap times, diaper changes, and toddler care
• Work with children who have special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing personalized care
• Foster positive behavior through encouragement, guidance, and consistent discipline strategies
• Communicate regularly with parents about daily activities, milestones, and any concerns

Experience

• Proven experience working with children across different age groups, especially infants, toddlers, and preschoolers
• Prior nannying or babysitting experience demonstrating reliability and trustworthiness
• Knowledge of child development principles and age-appropriate teaching methods
• Experience in caregiving roles that involve meal preparation, cleaning up after children, and maintaining a safe environment
• First aid certification or willingness to obtain it upon hiring
• Familiarity with working with children who have special needs or disabilities is a plus
• Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude

Pay: $26.00 - $32.00 per hour
