Part-time Nanny

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Part-time Nanny to provide loving, attentive, and responsible care for children in a family-oriented environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about childcare to make a positive impact on children's lives while working flexible hours. The ideal candidate will be proactive, nurturing, and experienced in managing the needs of young children, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Your primary focus will be ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of the children while supporting their daily routines and activities.

Schedule: Minimum of 1pm-6pm M-F + flexibility when no school

Responsibilities

• Transport children safely to and from activities using family vehicle
• Provide attentive childcare tailored to the individual needs of each child, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers
• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks suitable for children
• Engage children in educational activities, playtime, and age-appropriate learning experiences to promote development
• Maintain a safe environment by implementing proper safety protocols and supervising children at all times
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks related to childcare, such as cleaning up after meals, tidying toys, and maintaining a tidy play area
• Support children with daily routines including nap times, diaper changes, dressing, and hygiene practices
• Collaborate with parents to ensure consistency in caregiving approaches and communicate updates about the children's progress or concerns

Qualifications

• Proven experience working with children across various age groups, including infants and toddlers
• Knowledge of child development principles and age-specific activities
• Certification or training in first aid and CPR is highly preferred
• Ability to prepare healthy meals and snacks for children with attention to dietary restrictions or allergies
• Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus
• Strong caregiving skills with patience, empathy, and positive communication abilities
• Flexibility to work part-time hours that may include mornings, afternoons, or evenings as needed
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license are advantageous but not mandatory
