Part-Time Nanny Dix Hills

A warm family in Dix Hills is seeking a professional nanny for a part-time position assisting mom with her two young sons. Mom is home and actively involved in the children’s care, so this role functions as a mother’s helper style position , but the family is specifically looking for someone with strong nanny experience who can confidently step in when needed.

The toddler attends preschool three mornings per week , and much of the role will involve engaging with him after school , planning activities, and keeping him active and entertained while mom cares for the baby.

While mom is usually home, the nanny must be capable of caring for both children independently if needed , though this will only happen occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Engaging with the toddler through play, learning activities, and outdoor time
• Planning age-appropriate activities (crafts, reading, games, etc.)
• Supporting mom with the infant when needed
• Occasionally managing both children when necessary
• Helping keep children’s areas organized during the day
