Part-Time Nanny for 2 Elementary-Aged Kids

Job Overview

We are a warm, active family looking for a caring and responsible part-time nanny to become a positive, dependable presence in our children’s lives (ages 9 and 6). We’re hoping to find someone experienced in childcare who is kind, sporty, and genuinely loves spending time with kids.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with children, a nurturing attitude, and the ability to create a positive learning environment.

Responsibilities

This is a part-time position that includes:

• School pick-ups and drop-offs
• Driving to and from after-school activities and appointments
• Engaging the kids in active, creative, and outdoor play
• Preparing simple, healthy and gluten-free meals and snacks
• Light household tasks related to the children (tidying play areas, loading/unloading dishwasher, folding kids’ laundry, etc.)

We’re looking for someone who brings great energy to the day, whether that’s shooting hoops in the driveway, organizing a craft project, heading to the park, or helping with homework in a patient and encouraging way. We've found the best person to join our crew is a strong communicator and is proactive in helping our kids and family through the day.

Ideal Candidate

• Brings prior childcare experience (nannying, teaching, babysitting, camp counseling, etc.)
• Is a safe, responsible driver with a clean driving record
• Able to anticipate needs and take initiative
• Provides steady, reliable support
• Communicates effectively and is organized
• Non-smoker
• Is Comfortable with light housekeeping related to the children
• Brings demonstrated ability to create a nurturing, safe, and engaging environment for children

Committment

We're looking for someone to join us now/Spring, that could be with us through at least the summer, if not longer (6+ months).

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 24 per week
