Part-Time Nanny Summer and beyond

Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic on-call nannies to provide exceptional childcare for children during the summer months and beyond. The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for working with children, possess strong caregiving skills, and demonstrate a proactive approach to fostering a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment. This role offers an opportunity to support families in their daily routines while contributing to the developmental growth of children across various age groups, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.

Duties

• Provide attentive childcare tailored to the individual needs of each child, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
• Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and social development.
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding routines
• Perform light housekeeping duties related to childcare, such as maintaining a tidy play area.
• Support children's daily routines including nap times, diaper changes, and outdoor play.
• Collaborate with parents to implement consistent discipline strategies and developmental goals.
• Adapt caregiving approaches to work effectively with children who have special needs or disabilities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in nannying, babysitting, or childcare roles with a focus on infants, toddlers, or preschool-aged children.
• Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
• Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable; willingness to obtain certification if not already held.
• Ability to perform light cleaning tasks related to childcare responsibilities efficiently.
• Experience cooking nutritious meals suitable for young children and those with special dietary needs.
• Demonstrated patience, flexibility, and excellent communication skills when working with children and families.
