Part-time Nanny/Mothers Helper

Job Overview

We are seeking a kind, engaging and fun mothers helper for an energetic family with five kids. You will work alongside mom and help engage the toddler and 5 month old baby while she works from home. The ideal candidate will have a passion for playing with children and possess the skills necessary to ensure their safety, well-being, and development. This role requires you to work with mom and dad present at times while they're working and in and out of the home.

Duties

• Provide attentive and loving care for infants, toddlers, and children of various ages.
• Plan and engage in age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
• Prepare healthy meals and snacks for the children, ensuring dietary needs are met.
• Maintain a clean and organized environment, including tidying up after meals and playtime.
• Ensure the safety of children at all times by being vigilant and proactive in preventing accidents.
• Administer first aid when necessary and maintain a calm demeanor during emergencies.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in caregiving or childcare settings (babysitting, nannying).
• Knowledge of infant care and toddler development stages.
• Ability to prepare nutritious meals suitable for children. Mom will have all ingredients purchased and planned. You will just help put meals together.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with both children and parents.
• Certification in First Aid or CPR is required. We can help you obtain these certifications of needed.
• A clean background check is required.
• Patience, creativity, and a genuine love for working with children are essential traits for success in this role.
