Part-Time Mother’s Helper Needed

East Texas Nannies is currently assisting a wonderful family in their search for a nurturing and dependable Mother’s Helper.

Schedule:

• Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday
• 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
• $10 per hour

Position Overview:
This family is seeking a kind and engaging caregiver to assist Mom with her 7-month-old baby. Mom will be home throughout the shift, making this a true Mother’s Helper position rather than an independent nanny role.

The ideal candidate enjoys interacting with infants and understands the importance of age-appropriate engagement and developmental play.

Responsibilities:

• Engaging with the baby through play and interaction
• Reading books
• Assisting with tummy time and developmental activities
• Singing, talking, and encouraging learning through play
• Providing attentive care while Mom completes household tasks and other responsibilities
• Light tidying of toys and baby activity areas as needed

Ideal Candidate:

• Warm, patient, and nurturing
• Dependable and punctual
• Comfortable working alongside a parent
• Has experience with infants or a strong desire to work with young children
• Passionate about child development and creating a positive environment
