Part-Time Pawn Shop Sales & Customer Service Associate

5 Point Jewelry & Loan is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Pawn Shop Associate to join our Torrance location. No prior pawnshop experience is necessary because we provide full training. Excellent customer service skills and reliability are essential.

This is a part-time position with weekend availability required. Applicants must have reliable transportation for occasional inter-store duties.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers with pawn, loan, and retail transactions
• Evaluate and appraise items brought in by customers (training provided)
• Accurately manage cash, sales, and loan transactions
• Deliver excellent customer service and maintain positive relationships with customers
• Keep the store clean, organized, and professional
• Follow company policies and procedures at all times

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of customer service or sales experience
• No pawnbroker experience required, training provided
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be available on weekends
• Must have reliable transportation for inter-store support
