Part-time Pediatrician

The mission of Pediatric Associates is to deliver top-quality pediatric care with compassion and convenience in every community we serve. We are looking for a compassionate Pediatrician to join our Port St. Lucie team to provide care for kids in St. Lucie County. This is an opportunity to join a very well run practice with a highly competent and motivated team of clinicians, clinical and administrative staff. Here you will be supported and have the resources you need as you build your practice and care for your deserving panel of patients.

• Port St. Lucie West - Part-time Pediatrician Opening
• Outpatient with rotated newborn rounding at Tradition Hospital
• NHSC loan repayment eligibility
• Office hours until 5pm

Schedule

• No Office Call
• Newborn rounding/call rotation 2–3 times per month

Education, Licensure & Certification

• M.D. or D.O. degree required
• Successful completion of an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or American Osteopathic Association (AOA) approved post-graduate residency, or equivalent in Pediatrics
• Current, Unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Florida.
• Current, Unrestricted Florida state specific DEA license
• Current Board Certification appropriate for degree or be Board eligible and certified within five years of employment.
• Meets all requirements in order to obtain medical staff membership and required privileges.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) as required for hospital appointment.
