Closer to Home is looking for a highly organized, dependable, and compassionate individual to join our team as a Part-Time Personal Assistant to the Founder of Closer to Home, Inc.
This position is expected to be 15–20 hours per week, with a heavier workload leading up to our major fundraising event in September. After the event, hours will likely decrease as project demands slow down.
Responsibilities
Coordinate and organize administrative tasks
Make phone calls to confirm event attendance and communicate with attendees
Track RSVPs and maintain accurate records
Assist with event planning and coordination
Help manage schedules, follow-up communications, and project timelines
Complete various administrative projects and other duties as needed
We're Looking For Someone Who Is:
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Friendly, professional, and comfortable speaking on the phone
Reliable and self-motivated
Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Comfortable using email, spreadsheets, and basic computer programs
A problem solver who enjoys keeping things running smoothly
Preferred Qualifications
Lives in or near Franklin or Leiper's Fork
Has flexible daytime availability
Administrative or event planning experience is a plus, but not required
