Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Part-Time Practice Administrator / Operations & HR Lead to oversee and improve daily operations for the Hernia Center of Southern California, a lean private surgical practice serving a predominantly adult male, industrial/workers’ comp hernia population. This role is essential in building practical systems, strengthening accountability, and ensuring modern HR and compliance practices appropriate for a small, high-efficiency surgical office.
The ideal candidate brings 5–10+ years of experience in private surgical specialty or private surgical practice operations, with the judgment and presence to be a true operational partner to the surgeon-owner and a credible leader for staff.

- Build, refine, and maintain lean SOPs and training checklists for core workflows
- Support effective coordination of pre-op and post-op administrative processes, including telemedicine/phone workflow support tied to surgical readiness
