Part-Time Production Assistant - Kid's Apparel (4-20)

Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Part-Time Production Assistant to support our kids’ apparel production team. This role is ideal for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in the apparel industry while contributing to the day-to-day organization and workflow of the production department. This position will focus on both administrative production support and physical organization of materials, samples, and archived seasonal assets. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Support maintenance of Time & Action (T&A) calendars, WIP reports, and production tracking
• Provide general administrative support to the production team, including data entry and reporting
• Organize and maintain production folders, ensuring all information is accurate and up to date
• Manage and organize file cabinets and archived seasonal materials
• Sort, pack, and maintain past season folders and production assets
• Assist with distributing samples and folders to the design team as needed
• Help maintain an organized workspace for samples, trims, and production documents

Requirements:

• 0–2 years of experience; internships or relevant coursework a plus
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable with hands-on, operational tasks (filing, sorting, lifting boxes if needed)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel a plus)
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
• Interest in apparel/fashion industry preferred

Part-time Work Schedule

Approximately 20–30 hours per week (flexible based on business needs)
4 days a week in the office, preferred

New York Pay Rate $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
