Agrohansa, Inc. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Purchasing Agent to manage the procurement of essential packaging and raw materials on a part-time, contract (1099) basis. This is a unique and flexible role, particularly well-suited for a retiree with substantial, relevant procurement experience looking for consistent part-time work.

Position Details

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing the following materials:

• Paper products
• Paper cartons
• Polyurethane film
• Polypropylene film
• PET jars
• Managing supplier relationships and ensuring timely deliveries.
• Monitoring inventory levels and identifying purchasing needs.
• Negotiating favorable pricing and contract terms.

Qualifications and Experience

• Crucial Requirement: Only applicants with direct, demonstrable experience purchasing the specific materials listed above (paper products, paper cartons, polyurethane film, polypropylene film, and PET jars) will be considered.
• Proven experience as a Purchasing Agent, Buyer, or in a relevant procurement role, ideally in packaging or manufacturing.
• Knowledge of supply chain management principles.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
