Part-Time Reading Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and engaging Reading Specialist to support students in a school setting. This is a part-time, in-person role working directly with students during the school day.

This position begins immediately and will continue through the remainder of the school year, with a strong likelihood of extending into the summer and next school year.

What You’ll Do

• Provide individualized reading instruction to students
• Implement structured, evidence-based literacy strategies
• Track student progress and provide feedback
• Collaborate with our team and school partners as needed

What We’re Looking For

• Reading Specialist certification or Orton-Gillingham (OG) certification
• Experience working with students specifically in reading
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to commit to a consistent, in-person schedule

Important Consideration
This role requires consistent, in-person attendance during the school day (up to 15 hours/week). Please ensure that the commute is manageable for you on an ongoing basis.

Pay: $23.00 - $33.00 per hour
