Practices & Perspectives is seeking a creative, reliable, and multi-skilled digital professional to take full ownership of our online presence. You’ll edit videos, manage social media, run ads, oversee the website, and shape our brand across digital platforms. This role is perfect for someone who loves storytelling, design, and digital strategy — and wants to work with meaningful, thoughtful content.What would the world look and feel like if we used time-tested practices and perspectives to shift the mode of being from individualism, consumerism, and exploitation to collectivism, devotional service, and regenerative spiritualized stewardship?

Who We Are:

We are Rachel and Ryan Friedman, brother and sister co-founders of Practices and Perspectives! We’re a wellness hub dedicated to providing spaces and experiences for transformation through integrating ancient teachings into modern living. We provide flexible, personally tailored yoga teacher training, one-on-one dynamic coaching and healing sessions, connective community events, and weekly insights through our e-newsletter that inspire mindful, meaningful well-being. Additionally, we will soon be a physical yoga studio, retreat space, and educational culture hub with a focus at the intersection of human and environmental rights.

Responsibilities include:

✔ Website updates & SEO

✔ Editing videos (short & long-form)

✔ Managing social media (FB, IG, TikTok, YT, LinkedIn, X)

✔ Creating 5+ posts/week per platform

✔ Running paid ads

✔ Email + newsletter support

✔ Branding & messaging

✔ Content strategy

Hours & Compensation: This is a remote, part-time, contracted role at 9 hours per week (36 hours per month). Compensation is $1,000 per month, which comes to $27.78 per hour.To support consistency across platforms, we ask that you work at least 1 hour per day, Monday–Friday. Occasional in-person work in San Diego will be required for photo/video shoots and event support.

We are a start-up organization and currently in the 501(c)(3) application process! Our exciting partnerships with global sustainability experts and faith leaders will be announced in January as part of our official launch. The below site reflects our soft launch, which already has an international viewership in the 1,000’s.
