Part-Time Scribe

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Part-Time Medical Scribe to assist a board-certified Pulmonologist and Sleep Medicine specialist in a busy outpatient clinic. The scribe will support accurate and efficient documentation of clinical encounters in the electronic health record (EHR), allowing the physician to focus more on direct patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately and promptly document physician-patient interactions during consultations and follow-ups
• Navigate and update patient EHRs (Nextgen)
• Document histories, physical exams, assessments, and treatment plans
• Prepare patient charts prior to visits and ensure data accuracy
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations
• Communicate with clinical staff as needed to ensure continuity of care

Qualifications:

• Must have previous scribing experience
• Pre-med student, nursing student, or individual with clinical experience
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, especially in pulmonary / sleep medicine or internal medicine
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and maintain attention to detail
• Reliable, professional, and punctual

Work Environment:

• Outpatient clinic
• Two days per week
