Part-Time Seasonal Accounts Payable Specialist

Rivers Family of Companies is looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team on a part-time seasonal basis. This role will support our accounting team with invoice processing and vendor payments across multiple businesses.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys organized financial work and is looking for flexible part-time hours in a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices and enter them into accounting software
• Ensure invoices are properly coded and approved
• Prepare and process vendor payments
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain organized financial records and documentation
• Communicate with vendors regarding invoices and payment questions
• Assist with additional accounting or administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications

• Experience in Accounts Payable, bookkeeping, or accounting support required.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to maintain confidentiality with financial information
• Comfortable working with QuickBooks accounting software and spreadsheets
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Schedule

• Part-time seasonal position- approximately 12 weeks
• Approximately 10–20 hours per week
• Flexible weekday schedule

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
