Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and energetic Front of House Team Member to join our vibrant food service establishment. This role is essential in delivering exceptional customer experiences by providing attentive service, efficient food handling, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting. Previous restaurant or café experience is preferred.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and provide attentive customer service throughout their visit
• Take and process orders accurately using POS systems
• Prepare and assemble food items according to established standards, including basic food preparation tasks
• Handle cash transactions, process payments, and manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy
• Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including bussing tables and sanitation duties in compliance with food safety standards
• Assist with food handling, serving, and ensuring proper food safety protocols are followed
• Support kitchen staff with basic tasks as needed, including food prep and organization
• Manage time efficiently during busy periods to ensure prompt service and customer satisfaction
• Follow all sanitation, safety, and health regulations to uphold high standards of cleanliness and hygiene

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service, quick service restaurants, or retail environments; training will be provided
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and professional attitude
• Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations
• Ability to operate POS systems effectively
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or evenings if needed
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform light lifting as necessary
