Experienced Server – Morning / Midday Shift

Tom’s BBQ – Mesa, AZ

Tom’s BBQ is looking for a strong, experienced server to join our team for a morning / midday shift.

Our service style transitions throughout the day. From 9 AM – 2 PM we operate counter service, then transition into full-service dining beginning at 2 PM. We’re looking for someone who can comfortably adapt between service styles while maintaining great hospitality for our guests.

During portions of the shift there may be only one server on the floor, so this role is best suited for someone who enjoys taking ownership of their shift and confidently managing the dining room while delivering excellent guest service.

Typical Schedule

Monday – Friday

Approximately 9:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Some evening and weekend availability is also helpful.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous restaurant serving experience required

• Strong multitasking and time management skills

• Friendly, professional, and guest-focused

• Comfortable running the floor independently during parts of the shift

• Reliable and punctual

Responsibilities

• Greeting guests and assisting with counter service during morning hours

• Transitioning into full table service after 2 PM

• Running food, bussing tables, and maintaining a clean dining area

• Communicating with kitchen and bar to keep service flowing smoothly

• Providing attentive hospitality to every guest
