Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation
- Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring satisfaction
- Assist with food handling, kitchen support, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas
- Utilize reservation platforms like OpenTable to manage bookings and optimize seating arrangements
Experience
- Previous restaurant or food service experience, especially in fine dining of two years or more required.
- Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while multitasking efficiently
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and basic math for cash handling and cashiering
- Experience with food preparation, food industry operations, or host/hostess roles is a plus
- Excellent communication skills coupled with a positive attitude to foster guest loyalty
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays
