Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation
• Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring satisfaction
• Assist with food handling, kitchen support, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas
• Utilize reservation platforms like OpenTable to manage bookings and optimize seating arrangements

Experience

• Previous restaurant or food service experience, especially in fine dining of two years or more required.
• Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS is preferred
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
• Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while multitasking efficiently
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and basic math for cash handling and cashiering
• Experience with food preparation, food industry operations, or host/hostess roles is a plus
• Excellent communication skills coupled with a positive attitude to foster guest loyalty
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays
