Part Time Server

Job Summary

Duties

  • Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
  • Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales
  • Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
  • Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and ensuring satisfaction
  • Assist with food handling, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas
  • Utilize reservation platforms like OpenTable for seating arrangements and waitlist management
  • Follow food safety protocols and sanitation standards to ensure a safe dining environment
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timely food preparation and delivery
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties and basic math calculations
  • Part time at 10-20 hours per week.

Requirements

  • Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
  • Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
  • Ability to manage time effectively during busy service hours while multitasking efficiently
  • Knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and safety regulations in the food industry
  • Experience with serving, bussing, host/hostess duties, or guest services is advantageous
  • Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and sales transactions
  • Culinary or kitchen experience is a plus for understanding food preparation processes
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or nights as needed in a fast-paced environment
